Apples pwn teh world.
so.... there was band practice today once again.
WEll, our dear juniors have officially joined us in the main band and so , together, we must all work hard together for next year's SYF. YES. So now that you are all with us in the main band, its time for serious work. we must all work hard together in the playing of BRS alright. And the set piece lah. Of course we dont zombie on only two songs, it would be boring if thats so.
whatever it is, OUR MAIN AIM IS TO GET THE SILVER MEDAL, like what Sir said.
anyways, first thing Mr Tan did was to change the whole arrangement of the band. now the cornets section are in the second row with the euphonium and the french horn section sandwiching them. And the percussion instruments are rearranged. He must have had his reason for doing so. After so, Ma'am Clare carried out with us Concert Band Clinic for warm-ups while Sir went out with the trombone section for a talk. then after that, He came back and we played the National Anthem once through.
Here comes the not very nice part of the day. as expect since saturday when Mr Tan said that we are going to have a talk, He scolded the whole band including the juniors. Well, I guess you all would understand more now? so we must all work together with sir and the leaders to make this band a better place. Then, the Ma'am Elysia and Ma'am Clare went through with us new punishments, rules and etc that they had set with the whole commitee. the new punishments are really not as lenient, so you dont want your legs to break due to the numerous 'CONE-CLAPS'! haha!
So, many so-called new stuff are going to start from next week onwards. :) let's hope everything will go fine.
